Pictured here: Cath, my Aussie Mum, hands me over to my new host Paul
It's with a lump in my throat that I post this blog. It's sad to leave but I feel the travel bug is really biting me again. Adventure beckons...
I've had such a bonzer time in Australia, spending a lot of special family time with my hosts, the Mundy Turners (Cath, Jay & little Joshua). They've made me one of the family and they say I'm always welcome to return to them at Eurimbula Close, Waterford.
My new host is a top Aussie bloke by the name of Paul Underwood. He is heaps of fun & a trusted family friend of the Mundy Turners. Paul wants to show me a good time in his now home town of Chicago. And he travels a good deal - Paul's promised to take me on a skiing trip to Colorado soon. Yippeee!!! I'm actually looking forward to some cold weather after the terrible heat of yesterday.
Saying "GoodBye" to Joshua was awfully hard. Tonight I am finding it hard to sleep in the care of my new host, thinking of Joshua missing me. Tomorrow I fly out to the US of A. Wish me Bon Voyage!
